Bobby Stewart - Head Equipment Manager
Bobby Stewart, 53, is in his 31st season in the NHL. The first 7 with the Atlanta Flames, then 19 with the Calgary Flames, and this is his 5th back in Atlanta with the Thrashers. Bobby started his career as a stickboy in his native Montreal and spent 3 seasons as trainer of the Montreal Junior Canadiens before joinihg the Atlanta Flames in 1973. Career highlights include the 1989 Stanley Cup Championship with the Flames, working 2 NHL All-Star games in 1985 (Calgary) and 1994(New York), and the 1998 World Hockey Championships in Zurich, Switzerland. He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. Bobby resides in Lawrenceville, Ga. with his wife Sherri, and their son Joshua, a student at Georgia State University. |
