Mike Gapski - Head Athletic Trainer
Mike Gapski enters his 17th season with the Chicago Blackhawks. A Chicago native, Gapski fulfilled a lifelong dream of working for his hometown NHL team when he accepted the Blackhawks' Head Athletic Trainer position in 1987.

A graduate of Chicago's St. Rita High School, Gapski attended Daley Junior College before receiving an undergraduate degree in physical education with honors from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1982. He stayed at UIC for five years serving as assistant athletic trainer for three years and head trainer for the final two years. While at UIC he provided athletic healthcare coverage for all of the Flames' sports teams. Gapski was honored to serve as athletic trainer for the 1991 and 2003 NHL All-Star Games and for Team Canada at the 1991 Canada Cup.

Mike, 45, is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association. His hobbies include fishing and gardening. Mike and his wife, Lynne, have four children, Michael, Steven, Gillian, and Ryan, and reside in Crestwood, Illinois.


Troy Parchman - Head Equipment Manager
Troy Parchman enters his 10th season with the Chicago Blackhawks after joining the organization in 1994. A native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Parchman has 20 years of equipment management experience. He served as equipment manager for the University of Saskatchewan football and hockey teams from 1982-88, while earning undergraduate degrees in physical education and sociology.

From 1988 to 1994, he served as equipment manager for the Canadian National Hockey Team, where he worked consecutive World Hockey Championships from 1991-94.

Troy, 39, has received numerous professional honors such as being selected to provide equipment management services for the Canadian hockey squad at the 1992 and '94 Winter Olympic Games as well as the 2003 NHL All-Star Game. Troy enjoys cycling, fishing, and golfing. He resides in Chicago.
